The Ashuwillticook Rail Trail is an 11 mile bike ride through the Berkshire mountains and lakes. The trail passes a few feet behind the Inn. There are bikes available for guests to rent at the Inn for a nominal fee.
     
         

Mt. Greylock is the tallest peak in Southern New England and stands nearly 3,500 feet tall. Guests can take a short drive to the base of the mountain from the Inn and hike the trails to the top which takes the average hiker about one and a half to two hours.

 

 

 

Mass MoCA is the largest contemporary art museum in the country. It is 8 minutes north of the inn. It exhibits year round and has concerts, and other performing arts events in the evenings.

         
Greylock Glen is a 1,060 acre stretch of public land in Adams, Massachusetts. It rests at the eastern base of Mt. Greylock, southern New England's tallest mountain. The Glen is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, including a number of rare species. The area is a popular spot for hiking, swimming, biking, birdwatching, and other outdoor activities. To the right is Pecks Falls where there is swimming.
       
Windsor Lake is a 10 minute drive from the inn. This quiet lake is great for swimming, a picknic and a canoe ride. Pack a lunch and take in the stunning view. The water is a clean mountain source.
